ARHS Band & Orchestra Home Page

Welcome to the home page for the Algonquin Regional High School Band and Orchestra program. The Instrumental Music program at Algonquin features the Concert Band (grade 9), Symphonic Band (grades 10/11/12), Wind Ensemble (grades 11/12), and String Orchestra (grades 9-12). All of these Ensembles meet during the school day for full academic credit. There are approximately 250 students involved in the instrumental music program at Algonquin.

There are also two Jazz Ensembles and a Full Orchestra which meet regularly after school. In addition, there are numerous opportunities to participate in small instrumental ensembles.

The Pep Band will be performing on Friday, May 20 at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes presentation at Trottier Middle School.

Memorial Day permissions slip is also due on Thursday!

Please join us for the annual Tri-M Open Mic Night on Thursday, May 12 at 7pm in the ARHS cafe. The event is a fundraiser for the Dennis Wrenn Memorial Scholarship. There will be several musical acts performing and delicious home-baked goodies and Armeno's coffee for sale!



Congratulations to ARHS Jazz I! They received a Gold medal at the State MAJE Jazz Festival. They will perform at the Hatch Shell on May 14. They perform around 1pm!

POPS Night is scheduled for Wednesday, June 1 at 7pm in the ARHS gym! Don't miss the biggest concert of the year!

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door. NSMA members receive 2 tickets with their membership.

Doors will open at 6:30pm
